Katie Omori

Katie Omori
Camp Director

Katie is excited to be back for her 7th summer with Galileo. For five summers, Katie wrangled our tiny but mighty Nebulas as a Team Leader and morphed into a Lead Instructor for Art and Outdoors for Galileo in both San Francisco and Manhattan Beach. Katie earned her B.A. in liberal studies from San Francisco State University and recently earned her M.A. in Elementary Education with teaching credentials from Loyola Marymount University. When she's not at camp face painting campers galore, you'll find her in the classroom substitute teaching for Torrance Unified School District. Beyond the classroom you'll catch her cooking, obsessing over Star Wars, getting crafty, and traveling. Katie is PUMPED to watch rubber chickens fly this summer in Manhattan Beach in her 2nd year as Camp Director!
