Michael Tither

Michael Tither
Camp Director

Some say he is a Master of Fun; others say he is Commander of Entertainment. At Galileo we know him as Michael Tither, Camp Director Extraordinaire. He is bubbling over with excitement as he rejoins the Galileo Community for his fifth summer as a Camp Director, fourth year in Oakland. Michael spent his first two summers teaching at GSQ Oakland as the Go-Kart Builders Lead Instructor. During the school year, Michael is the program manager for the SF Maritime National Park Association, helping to run outdoor educational events on historic ships. With an undergraduate degree in Community Sport Development and countless summers spent working at sleep away camps nationwide, he cannot wait to get his chicken cheer on this summer!
