Will lunch or a snack be provided?
No, but there will be snack time. Campers should come with a snack and a water bottle packed every day for our snack break. There will not be a lunch period. Campers will be dismissed at lunch time.
What is the cancellation/refund policy?
You may cancel your session before April 3 for no charge. You'll receive a full refund, minus a $50 cancellation fee, for any sessions canceled between April 3 and June 2. No refunds will be offered after June 2.
How do media permissions work?
By signing up for camp sessions at our headquarters location, you agree for your child to be filmed and photographed. We will be using footage from these sessions in training videos for our staff as well as marketing materials. If you've signed up and need to opt-out please call us at 800-854-3684.
Is each week focused on a theme like Camp Galileo?
Galileo Idea Lab is a unique camp experience. Each week campers will be engaged in multiple themes at a time, innovating alongside our curriculum developers and getting a sneak peek at 2019 themes and projects. Campers will participate in two rotations each day, each with a unique project focus.
What's the schedule like?
July 23 – July 27: Stars, 1st – 2nd graders
July 30 – Aug 3: Supernovas, 3rd – 5th graders
Aug 6 – Aug 10: Nebulas, pre-K – kindergarteners
Monday – Thursday Schedule
9 am – 9:10 am Check in
9:10 am– 9:20 am Opening
9:20 am – 10:30 am First rotation
10:30 am – 10:45 am Snack break
10:40 am – 11:55 am Second rotation
12:00 pm – Pick up*

Drop off/Pick Up
How early can I drop off and how late can I pick up?
Drop off will be at 9 am every morning and you can pick up your camper starting at 11:55 am.
*If you are more than 10 minutes late for pickup there will be a fee of $1 for each minute that you’re late.
How large will the groups be?
Idea Lab Camp is an exclusive offering with limited availability. We will host a total of 20 campers during our Star and Supernova weeks and 16 campers during our Nebula week.
What are your camper to staff ratios?
Each activity will be led by 2 members of our exceptional curriculum development team. For Nebulas we will honor a camper to staff ratio of 8:1 at Camp @ HQ. And for Stars and Supernovas we will honor a camper to staff ratio of 10:1.
How much does a week at Galileo Idea Lab: Camp @ HQ cost?
The cost is $150 per week.
