Field Operations Team: Area Director
Galileo is looking for a seasoned and charismatic leader with exceptional management skills to join our Area Director team. Each Area Director manages four to eight of Galileo’s K-8th grade summer camps. Collectively, the Area Director Team drives the overall direction of Galileo’s programs. We are currently looking for an Area Director to join our Southern California team to oversee Orange County camps.

Galileo’s Field Operations team is seeking a Field Operations Coordinator. The perfect role for someone motivated by supporting the success of a team, the ideal candidate is an extremely organized self-starter who thrives on completing administrative tasks. This is a rare opportunity to learn from and work closely with the leaders of Galileo programs, working behind the scenes to help prepare for the summer.
People Operations Team: Associate Recruiting Manager, Outreach
Galileo is looking for an experienced, powerhouse recruiter. The Associate Outreach Manager will work with Galileo's Outreach Manager to develop and then execute a strategy to successfully attract and hire ~35 HQ team members and ~25-40 Camp Directors annually. Great candidates will have demonstrated project management and relationship-building chops and will be passionate about recruiting exceptional people for a mission-driven team.
People Operations Team: Hiring Process Manager
Galileo is looking for an experienced manager passionate about staff selection to lead our selection process efforts across HQ, Camp Director, and summer staff hiring. Exceptional candidates, in addition to a demonstrated passion for staff selection, will have experience working with selection processes, managing teams, and project management.
People Operations Team: People Services Managers
Our People Operations department is looking for two experienced and detail-oriented leaders to join our team. These aren’t your typical “HR department” jobs; great candidates will (really, really) love people, service, fun, and delivering exceptional work product. These roles provide exceptional service to all Galileo employees, including year-round teams and ~2,000 temporary summer staff. We are looking for managers in the areas of Payroll & Benefits and Offers & Onboarding. Both managers will have demonstrated experience in project management and ticketing systems, as well as stellar interpersonal skills.
