Camp Director

Tamar is returning for her fifth year as Camp Director at Galileo. She spent the last four years at Camp Galileo Belmont, and will be Camp Director of both Camp Galileo and Galileo Summer Quest's brand new location-- San Carlos! After graduating from UC Santa Cruz with a degree in astrophysics and receiving her single subject teaching credential at San Francisco State University, she taught physics in a Hayward charter school for two years. She wants to continue working at the high school level to encourage youth leadership and support conflict mediation. Tamar loves the 49ers, organic fruit, working with kids and singing.
