Glenn Howe
Camp Director

Glenn is a born and raised Oakland native who knew he wanted to be an educator from early on. He earned his bachelor's degree and teaching credential from Humboldt State University, and has been exploring new, fun ways to work with kids in his hometown ever since. During the school year, when he’s not sailing to Mexico, hiking the Pacific Crest Trail or attending clown school, Glenn works at San Francisco Maritime National Park as a sailing instructor, youth boat builder, interpreter, living history performer and overnight field trip leader on a wide variety of historic boats.
