Nicole Neumiller

Nicole Neumiller
Camp Director

Nicole is excited to be returning for her third summer with Galileo as a second year Camp Director for Palo Alto Camp Galileo. She is deeply connected to Galileo's mission to nurture and inspire fearless innovators who envision and create a better world. After graduating from Seattle University with an environmental studies degree and a minor in biology, Nicole spent two years working as a wetlands and fisheries biologist before shifting gears to work with youth. Nicole has spent the last seven years working as an educator in a variety of roles. Nicole has worked with middle and high school students both in and out of the classroom in California, Washington State, and South East Asia. She is currently the Enrichment Coordinator for East Bay Innovation Academy, a second year STEAM based charter school in Oakland Unified School District. With a passion for Ultimate Frisbee, Nicole's longest ongoing camp experience is with the Seattle Youth Ultimate camps where she has spent the last six years working as a camp counselor. She loves to make up impromptu dance moves, face paint zombie princesses, find new uses for glitter, and go swimming whenever possible.
