Nicole Neumiller

Nicole Neumiller
Camp Director

Nicole is diving into her second year with Galileo by joining the Camp Director team. Last summer's many experiments, obstacle courses and face paint led Nicole to relocate from Seattle to the Bay Area to continue her adventures at camp. After graduating from Seattle University with an environmental studies degree and a minor in biology, Nicole spent two years working as a wetlands and fisheries biologist for an environmental and engineering firm before shifting gears to work with youth. Nicole has spent the last six years working as an educator—in schools as an instructional assistant in an emotional behavior disabilities program, designing and running after-school and summer programs for middle school students and coaching ultimate Frisbee. Last year she spent five months in Southeast Asia working as an education consultant with an NGO called Ba Futuru, For the Future, in East Timor. Nicole has spent the last five years working as a camp counselor with the Seattle Youth Ultimate Camps. She loves to make up impromptu dance moves, face paint zombie princesses, and go swimming whenever possible.
