Dates: June 16 – August 1

Camp Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am–3pm

Extended Care: 8am–9am and 3pm–6pm

Elisabeth Donley

Elisabeth Donley
Camp Director

Elisabeth Donley is an artist and educator based out of Oakland, California. She is passionate about self-directed learning philosophies and is deeply excited to be joining the fun-focused summer learning movement here at Camp Galileo. Elisabeth brings experience as a teacher, after school director, and years of camp leadership to her first summer at Galileo. She holds a BA in Anthropology from University of California, Berkeley and is pursuing her teaching credential for Art. Currently she is an art teacher with a variety of schools in Oakland including the Junior Center of Art and Science, Oakland School for the Arts, and the Jewish Community Center of the East Bay. In her off time, Elisabeth is a big fan of walking or painting in nature, and can often be found sketching or playing board games in cafes.
